We are excited to announce that we are now HABIA endorsed. The Studex Ear and Nose Piercing Training programmes have now been issued with Brand Endorsement Certificates which is an amazing achievement, especially as at Studex training is at the heart of what we do.
HABIA is the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority who work with organisations, agencies, educators, employers, and experts to develop National Occupation Standards (NOS) They also look to champion high-quality education, recognise, and endorse excellence and promote careers in the hair and beauty sector. HABIA endorsements are robust, respected and well recognised by many in the industry and is an endorsement we are proud of.
What Does HABIA Endorsement Mean for Studex?
Being endorsed by HABIA means our Studex training courses are aligned with the most up to date National Occupational Standards (NOS). HABIA reviewed the Studex training material and had an insight into what we deliver during our theory and practical training sessions to ensure we are delivering high quality in person training to all Piercing Partners.

Studex is the third company I’ve trained in with ear piercing, we found Studex training to be comprehensive and covered practical ways to carry out piercing. We especially liked the little tips the trainer gave us on the process, such as how to make the piercing as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and how to stand when piercing. It seems obvious but I was moving myself into awkward positions, rather than moving the clients chair or tilting their head! She also covered what to do if anything went wrong, and how to deal with clients who faint etc. We love piercing with Studex, and as a business it’s more cost effective for us to use than other brands.
