Trade Show Essential tips
Autumn’s biggest event for beauty professionals, Olympia Beauty, is taking place on 2nd and 3rd October in London and we are incredibly excited to be there! The first industry event of 2021 presents a fantastic opportunity to meet with suppliers, discover new brands and find out what is going on in the industry.
As seasoned trade show attendees, here are a few essential tips that we have pulled together to share with you for you to make the most of your visit:
- Wear flat shoes! Heels look great but your feet won’t thank you as you clock up the steps and pound the hard floors.
- Remember to bring water and some energy snacks with you to keep you hydrated and nourished! The venue has great ventilation, but the beautiful glass roof can make it hot on a sunny day.
- Make sure you plan your transport. If you are driving, book parking, and for trains, make sure you check you route and know your connections.
- Peak time at the shows is normally between 11:30am and 3:00pm so try to get in early and make a full day of it! Remember being in central London there are always places to go when you have finished – why not make a weekend of it!
- Look at the guide before you visit and don’t forget a shopping list so that you can take advantage of all the supplier offers!
- Before the Christmas rush, reward your team by inviting everyone to attend, it’s a great way for building team morale and getting different ideas about how to make your treatment menu flourish!

Studex expert Trainers will be on hand at the event to showcase all piercing systems as well as offering piercings to demonstrate how safe, gentle and simple the piercing process can be.
