The Show must go on…

After a long break, we were back to attending an industry event and what an occasion it was! With large events cancelled throughout 2020 and early 2021, we were delighted to have been exhibiting at Olympia Beauty at the beginning of the month.

Olympia Beauty was the first large scale event to welcome the beauty industry back and it really didn’t disappoint with an incredible buzz and lots of happy visitors and exhibitors. The show attracted many professionals keen to be back at events to meet with suppliers and source new products and brands, enjoying face to face conversations and a good catch up.

Back with a bang, we showcased a stunning new stand with a bright and fresh feel to it allowing us to showcase the systems, retail stands, show offers and speak with customers as well as having a dedicated piercing area.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to speak with lots of our customers to help review their range and discuss the Advanced Aftercare benefits and retail options for the festive season. We also had the pleasure of meeting lots of new customers, keen to add piercing services to their portfolio or upgrade their current systems. Being able to show customers the benefits of piercing with Studex was amazing. Technology has really helped to keep businesses moving in the right direction over the past 18 months, but you cannot beat screen-free interaction sometimes!

The Studex Team at the Show included three of our fantastic Training Team members – Serena, Sheila and Caroline – who were demonstrating the ease, safety and gentle process of piercing with System 75. At the show, we asked for a donation per piercing for MND, Motor Neurone Disease charity with all proceeds going directly to the charity. The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with, or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a cause very close to our hearts after one of our highly respected Trainers, close friend and well-loved colleague, Natalie, lost her battle with the disease in September 2020. We raised over £1000 over the two days and would like to thank everyone who had a piercing and donated!

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Olympia Beauty – it was an absolute joy to be back and doing what we love!  Promoting our amazing brand, training, and finding out how we can continue to support and grow your piercing business.

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to put next year’s event in your diary – Sunday 2nd and Monday 3rd October 2022!  We’ll be there and hope to see you too!
